Jesús Montes is a documentary photographer and emerging filmmaker based in Florida, working across the U.S. and internationally. His work centers on culture—its preservation, evolution, and expression—through compelling visual narratives in both photography and film.
Jesús has documented a range of culturally significant events, from the Puerto Rican Day Parade and NYC Pride to global movements like Colombia’s Paro Nacional and the nationwide Stop AAPI Hate protests. With a foundation in still imagery and a growing focus on documentary film, his practice is rooted in honoring diverse communities and the stories they carry.
